Dispatching
All southside lines(out of South Station) are controlled from the Centralized Electrification & Traffic Control Center (CETC) at South Station. Amtrak controls the NEC, the south station terminal area, and the Southampton yard area, with Keolis controlling all other lines and branches.
The Iron Horse Park Operations Control Center (IHPOCC)* in North Billerica Controls:
- All of the Newburyport/Rockport Line
- North Station to CPF-WJ on the Haverhill Line
- North Station to South Lowell on the Lowell Line
- North Station to CPF-WL on the Fitchburg Line
The other parts of these lines are controlled by Pan-Am Railways / CSX in North Billerica. Trains on these portions use the PAR Radio Channels.
*The former Commuter Rail Operations Control Center (CROCC) in Somerville serves as a backup for IHPOCC
